Finally got around to making granola. Here’s Sarah’s Dad’s famous recipe, in case you want to try it:
8 cups oats (old fashioned) 1 lb golden raisins 2 1/2 cups coconut flakes 1 cup sesame seeds 1 cup sunflower seeds (unsalted raw) 2 tsp salt you can vary the ingredients…craisins/different kind of nuts etc(I prefer to leave the nuts out) In a glass measuring cup, microwave; 3/4 cup canola oil 2TBS vanilla 1 1/4 cup honey mix with dry ingredients (also known as “lift and separate”) Bake on cookie sheets in a 375 degree oven for 12 mins, mix, redistribute and bake another 4 mins.  Cool and put in bags.We recommend freezing the granola. YUM!
